I think the problem is in the volume. Lower the volume on the phone or the car's bluetooth. It fixed it for me a while back. I am just not sure which one is it.

Try the diag menu.

I have a galaxy s4 and mines do the same so I just disable the bluetooth and stop using it. Please let us know if it works out.

If your Bluetooth is on then the noise cancelling feature on your phone does not do anything. That is just for the built in mic on the phone itself. Our cars have microphones within the headliner.

lol yes I think we all know where the mic is located above driver near dash. basically its settings from the phone or from bluetooth settings in the car, so trying different call settings and bluetooth settings on the phone makes sense. I will also check the settings for bluetooth in the car.

ok msvara might be on the right track, I went into the phone settings in the car and noticed mine was set to GSM, I have a sprint CDMA phone so I switched it to CDMA and called my friend she said she did not hear an echo on her side. I'll test some more and let you guys know.

The fundamental issue is that it's not a very good bluetooth calling system. I've used systems on newer toyotas, hondas, and chevys, and they're much better.

Check out an aftermarket car kit if you want a reliable solution. http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_ ... etooth+car

I dont think thats the issue, I think it was a setting. I had mine on gsm vs cdma. I called a few more people but did not get a chance to ask if they heard echos on there side. will keep testing.

ok my fix for this was definitely the carrier settings in the dash under phone settings I have sprint phone so I changed to cdma issue resolved.
