My blue tooth drops calls when i turn the car off...it hangs up the call.

My other phone would just go to the handset so I could keep talking...anyone know about this?

Got enough hang-ups, dont need another one...

It's most likely due to the fact that the car's bluetooth hates the iPhone - there really isn't much of a way around it right now either...

2G iPhones didnt have a problem. 3G iPhones are the ones that are having all the bluetooth issues. Apple is working on it though....over the past few software updates the bluetoothe issues have been diminishing.

my regular iphone did this, its a software issue, however I dunno if it does this with my iphone 3g but before you turn off the car, just hit the audio sources button on the screen and change from bluetooth to speak or handset, and then turn off the car.

I've been having intermittent connection issues, I guess I should bite the bullet and let itunes update. bye bye jailbreak!

Jailbreak works on the latest iphones, if you need have the phone unlocked then its trickier as the bandband has been upgraded.

I had issues with the 3g before i updated to the latest firmware, where the phone would drop calls, or worse the bluetooth stack crashes the bluetooth and radio would just die, the only way to fix it was restarting the car. The iphone would be undiscoverable until a reboot of the iphone.

My iPhone 3G locks up the radio (like stuck on 2 seconds) if I answer the call too quick from the stearing wheel button. If I answer from the iPhone or make a call it's fine...Made a post in the audio section with no real answers

With all the problems that the iPhone has, why don't you just get a Crackberry?

with the iphone 3g apple switched to a different manufacturer for their bluetooth chips, this is the root of most of the problems. I have updated to the latest firmware and that fixed the problem for me.

I'm like the PC guy, always loved windows but after you try a iPhone and actually get your moneys worth from the "data plan" it's hard to not like Apple. My Sony Vio laptop is collecting dust, my emails, banking, ebay shopping ,google, games ect in the palm of my hands

Next up Mac Mini (when updated) for my HDTV

People are crybabies - same thing happened with the iPhone too when it came out. You bought a touch screen phone - shut your yapping about how you can't type the same way as you used to on a real key. It's going to be different...DUH. Sure, there are some glitches that are being fixed, but welcome to technology - it happens to everything.

I love my storm. I've had 0 issues since the day I got it.
