ok not the techie post everyine dies for BUT

been cleaning up the engine bay yesterday and decided to put on one of my blue valve covers to see how it would look, now deciding whether to use the red or blue covers??? what do you guys think

i think i may put in the blue ones just for a change, the red ones could use a good cleaning and painting anyway..

I think one of each would be cool like the way you have it set up now .

I prefer the stock red myself. You can say it is a Type R motor LOL.

the gun metal looks like the hot sauce, but how will it look in the engine bay/? hmm...

was thinking of a color similar to that, i painted my SPARCO wheels with it, a kinda dark dark gunmetal metallic.. but thought ti was too dark,

i kinda liked the idea of the two tome engine, blue for the intake side and red for the exhasut side (blue=cold red=hot) and use matching colored cam gears lol

but i think i'll rock the blue for now..

Cold air in, hot air out. Keep it like you have in the pic. I was going to do my hose connections for the intake that way, with the pre-intercooler connections red and the post blue. The valve covers are even better.

I don't like the green/yellow unless you have JUN internals. Nor do I like the blue unless you have Tomei guts. To me, that is rice....but that is just me. I understand that they are just colors, but when a company adopts them to such a high degree, it may give folks the wrong idea.

I'm pretty sure he's in Canada and imported a real Silvia. With their 15-year rule, they can get em now.

I really like the red/blue setup you have ca19det. Personally i polished mine before doing my engine swap about a month ago. They look kinda like yours C-rad. I'll post pics of my car and my engine swap soon (still daily driving it to see if any major problems present themselfs). I was thinking of getting ca18de valve covers from the junk yard and painting them hot pink .

But yeah, i think the red/blue set up is cool! Its unique!

I know some other guys on the board in Canada have Silvias, I check http://www.importconcern.ca out from time to time to see what kinda sweet cars they're bringing in

Well, I meant more like a Genesis crate engine. I don't consider only cams counting for a Tomei motor LOL. But you do what you want man. Mucho respect regardless.
