blue license plate led

is this illegal? i know it wont look that great but i swapped the license plate and map lights cuz blue leds in map lights dont work for shiet, u cant see anything. so now i have blue leds on my license plates, could i just leave em there for now cuz i cant find my oem ones.

yea, blue lights anywhere is illegal. i've been pulled over numerours time in the past and let off with a warning.

i don't think you will get pulled over. some cars come with led license plate lights. just tell them it came with the car lol.

its not the fact they are LEDs, just the fact that they are blue. mainly blue and red are a no no BUT there will be cops that pull you over for any other color besides the dull yellow color and white.
