so i went to go install it at my local place where i do everything to my car. he said that the overlay was to small and that he had to stretch it way to much. also that after a while it will make my tailights yellow if i ever take them off. he said he will not do it because he doesnt wanna f it up and lose his reputation. i have an altima 09 sedan and got the full smoke 6/10 tint. is the overlay bad quality?? do they last?? im in florida. where did you do yours??

He's probably just scared to F them up. bat's overlays are good quality. They will NOT yellow the lights if removed. I did my own a few times. Switched from eyelids to GTRs back to eyelids.

I'm using the 6/10 smoked.

What style overlay did you purchase?

You can install them yourself with a heatgun, a plastic spreader (I used an old credit card and a thin towel), soapy water, and patience...alot of patience.

Nah, if a shop is dissing the overlays. It means they don;'t know much about overlays..esp. BATs. i would go somewhere else. Or contact bat or... [URL]http://www.nissanclub.com/forums/new-20 ... d.html/URL]

Check here to see if there is a Bat installer in your area. The tails are quite difficult for a beginner or esp. someone who isn't familiar with vinyl overlays. i am too scared to try i myself, but I'm sure with practice, it would be a simple overlay job. Okay, maybe SIMPLE is too simple of a word to use.

i would call some tint shops int eh area and see if they have had experience with vinyl. But also keep in mind, because a tint ship does good tint, it won't mean they know how to install vinyl.

Hey bro, i just installed my overlays. I know this guy who does it. His name is Alex and he is in Kendall area. His phone number: 786-278-5700. Tell him Anson sent you. He charges 40 bucks for each pair. He also installs HID, i got mine for 130 bucks installed.
