Sorry bout that. Must have missed it in the number haze I see before my eyes. Anyone feel free to correct me if I'm mistaken, but I'm bound to get a few things jumbled in my current "cramming for finals" state. Pissing redbull is absolutely not healthy. With that said, lets proceed.
1. Two basic types of bov, push and pull type valves. The rest of em are all derivatives of them.
2. The hard/soft setting is the tension on the spring. What you're aiming for is the softest setting without the valve letting boost pressure slip by.
3. I am personally using a through type Sard R2D2 blow off. Not exactly the biggest fan of the atmospheric blow offs as they can cause erratic idle at deceleration to name one.
4. If you're looking for the one that everyone seems to have, it's the HKS SSQV. It is also one of the worst performing blow off valves but makes a sound that makes it pretty clear you've got a turbo. One of the best responding bov's is the Apexi but they'd be better in my list if they only had a recirc. The Greddy's seem to be a pretty solid choice. The Blitz dd's will leak after time. The ARC and sheepdog are both solid bov's as well.
