well today i was driving home and i was getting on it a lil bit and i hit a certain point and it started to bogg down in a sense. naturally i let off and i noticed a little bit later that it made a kinda howling/whistling noise when i got on the gas and it started to boost. not too long after that it kinda popped and .... no more boost for me!! so what i'm trying to say is i think i'm in the market for a good used rb20det/rb25 turbo. thanks

Could be loose pipings. See any smoke, oil residue, turbine in muffler ? So what you want us to do?

if you get the rb25 turbine, change the wastgate to the rb20's. the 25's wastegate opens at .45 and the 20's at .75 bar
