first time i started my SR s13 blacktop i only let it idle for a little bit before i noticed black oil spewing out of turbo outlet pipe (hot pipe was not hooked up yet). just recently i started it and let it run for longer, the longer i ran it it..the more i noticed that there was smoke coming from the turbo.and now im worried/pissed.a friend of mine mentioned "either the turbo is worn out from too much heat and needs rebuild, and or the oil return wasnt returning and needs a rebuild.any body have any ideas??

should i be real worried? or can i go back to getting some sleep at night.

That looks normal. You will get a slight amount of oil from the blowby tube that feeds into the intake before the compressor wheel. Turbos usually dont get "too hot". They usually have other problems like seals going bad or excess shaft play from bad bearings.

Oil burns blue hued smoke.

so what your saying is that when it starts to smoke,it eventually goes away? or thats just normal for it to smoke a little bit?

I would say hook everything up properly then see what happens.
