Blown RB20

Yesterday I was on my way home when I started a 2nd -> 3rd pull and right about 5500rpm in 3rd I heard a little poof. Ever since then I thought my #6 clyinder was missfiring although everything was testing out fine. Finally I did a compression test and these are my results:

im going rb25 now

Misfiring maybe mistaken for running lean in cyl 6 to heat up the cyl enough to melt a piston or burn a valve? Tear it apart for fun.

Los, what parts do you have that will fit the 20??

Unless he's gonna stroke it, But I thought you sold your 25 crank.

Buy another long block or buy a 25.Not work building the motor.Costs a lot plus PITA to find parts and wait for them.

i got a rb25 series 2 crank dont need coller, rb25 headgasket and rb26 pistons

well I have nearly no time to be without a car so I went ahead and purchased a rb25 motorset and i'm going to swap it in this weekend

nismopwr I dont have email at the moment. Which parts do you and sil-line need?

I dunno if i'm going to sell it or rebuild it and then sell it.. We'll see once I tear it all apart.

well mine is giving me an idle problem ,

so i would need AAC valve, IACV valve for my idle problem ..

it's also bogging out after four grand so i may need a maf, and the ECU if possible ????

Hey had he same problem with number six cylinder and did a nice job on my piston if your not rebuilding it i need just one piston from it
