I was checking the RB forum on http://www.240sxforums.com this morning and found a thread that may have your solution.: http://www.240sxforums.com/for...49557

Apparently the 300zx, KA, and SR slaves won't work. The only thing remotely close in the Nissan family is the I30 slave and that apparently doesn't work either.

Hey, give it a shot with the Accord slave. I'm sure that the slave cylinder they mention is really cheap and readily available.

what about a rebuilt kit would it be the same as one from a usdm transmission? Maybe a 300zx or the i30 that looks familiar.

Ok, I tried the 1993 Honda Accord Slave cylinder. With a little boring of the bolt holes, the slave would bolt right up. However, there were some issues.

First, the slave cylinder rod was too short. It barely even touched the fork fully extended, with the fork in the "dead center" of the transmission fork hole.

Second, the Honda Accord slave cylinder appeared to be a little long on the back side, The actual back of the slave cylinder stuck out over the end of the bellhousing of the transmission about 1/8"-1/4". I think that that my constitute a problem when bolting the transmission to the engine, it may hit, but then again it may not.

If the back of the slave cylinder does not touco anything on the engine, and you are DETERMINED to get this work, you could "make" a custom rod long enough to fully reach the fork correctly. I would say if you went that route, you may want to wait until you have the transmission and clutch bolted up together on the engine. That way, the fork is sitting in its correct spot and you can then make a rod to fit it.....
