Blown radiator!!!!!!!!!

K....Last night i was racing alot and I ended up blowing my radiator....and like white evaporated smoke was coming out of my exhaust when i turn it on....is that part of a blown radiator or maybe i need oil or ...can anybody help???

Do you mean you turned it on after you replaced the radiator? I hope that is the case. Anyways, if you have white smoke coming out of the exhaust and there wasnt any condensation in the exhaust pipe at the end it sounds like you blew your headgasket.

If it was enough to blow your radiator, I assume you have the plastic top stock piece, then your head gasket probably went before that. I hope its only the headgasket. When my went the head had to be replaced.

When replacing be sure to replace all the coolant componets. Take attentiont to your pump, make sure it hasnt seized.

Yea sounds like the head gasket... huge puff of white smoke when you start from stop?

I concur it sound like headgasket. check your oil for milky consistency. Check compression.

No....I havent replaced my Radiator yet....It was condensated smoke coming out the exhaust pipe when i turned it on the night it happen....Now its at my house and im waiting for my new radiator to come that way i can replace the old one and in with the new one..

first off, the smoke comming out of your tailpipe has nothing to do with the radiator.

when a radiator goes, it just leaks, it DOES NOT cause steam to come out of the exhaust. that is a blown headgasket.

Well..i just got a call back from the place i took it and they said that i just need a new radiator and that the condensed smoke coming out from the exhaust was water sucked in through the intake or exhaust ...something like that.. Thank God it wasnt something like blown headgaskets ....
