2004 frontier, 2.4L engine. In master fuse box the 40 amp ignition fuse blew when I tried to start engine. All electrical items work (lights, windows, locks) worked except the dash gauges would not register. Lights in gauges work. No power to the gauges to register. Replaced 40 amp fuse. As soon as I turned to the start position, fuse blows again. Towed truck to shop. Wiring checked and problem was suppose to be starter. Replaced starter. Drove for 5 days. Tried to start today and fuse blows again. There is a possibility that the fuse is blowing while I drive and is not blowing at the next start up as I thought. I'm no wiring guru so any help is appreciated.

Maybe this is a starter relay problem?? Is it located on the starter? or where??

Short found in wire between the clutch interlock relay and starter. Repaired.
