blown HG... i think....

So i fixed the electrical prople i was having only to find that when my car warmed up it started belowing white smoke and in the resivor of my radiator, fluidit was bubling violently and going way above the max line when it cooled and went back down i found a black resdue that kinda looked like dirt but dirt has been nowhere near that car i also befroe this happened herd a screaching noise like you would here in a metal shop wich makes me think mabye turbo but not sure......... and if it is my HG how hard is that to do for a weekend mechanic and 2 friends

Headgaskets aren't hard to do. I prefer to pull the motor, though. Hunching over in the engine compartment gets annoying.

If you're seeing white smoke and your radiator is perculating, those are good signs of a blown head gasket. You can also check the oil for a milkish brown color as well.
