Blown Head gasket

Ok i'm looking at a 1995 240SX with about 190K miles on it and it has a blown head gasket on the KA motor. They want to sell it to me for 2,000 dollars and are about 200 miles away from me.

Has anyone out here had a blown head gasket and needed it repaired in the past, how much did the gasket labor etc. cost?

And you think the car is worth 2,000 with the blown gasket and the amount of miles on it?

I'd appreciate some feed back, i'll probably find out on my own just wanted to post and get some opinions and what not, thanks

Well consider the fact that I'm getting mine for around 2700 (and thats the friend price...). And his is in damn good shape.

nope, not worth 2g at all.... you will prolly wanna swap out the engine thats a good 500$ if you go with a ka. i would get him to sell it to you for about 1500

hmm. if you good with engiens buy it. if not, don;t want a blown gasket..
