OK heres the deal, 91 coupe and the radio, dome, luggage, and other interior lights do not work. the 10A fuse that controls them blows every time I put one in it. I have stripped the car done, and am checking the harness for a short.

I was wondering if anyone happens to know of a possible place where it is shorting.

have you installed an aftermarket head unit? the 12v acc wire is more than likely the culprit. That wire powers the dome lights, the radio, the door chime, and a few other miscellaneous interior electronics.

i kept blowing mine because a previous owner had installed an alarm. when they pulled the alarm, they had just crammed the 12v wire into the fuse box, bending the clips that hold the fuse in. i bent the clips back and viola, i haven't blown a fuse since.

did they splice into the factory radio harness or did they buy an adapter harness? if they spliced into the main harness, it's possible part of the wire is exposed and causing a short.

fuses typically blow because there is a short in the system.

Yea, for some reason I don't have reverse lights. I have the 180sx tails, but the fuses keep going for the reverse lights for some reason.
