hey, I have a few questions with this swap. and yes i did use the search and looked thru about 25 old threads on this.

THe E tach will not work with the DE motor, correct? but all teh other gauges are o.k.? all I am concerned about is the oil light, the temp gauge and the speedometer.

does anyone know of a manual steering rack that will fit in the S13 chassis? like maybe a S12 or S130? I know i need ps lines for the DOHC swap or just bend my SOHC ones, but I would really prefer manual steering. the car is already a base model. no AC! light weight.

I am geting a 92ish DE, 115K, with EVERYTHING (SR swap leftover) uncut harness, accessories, EVERYTHING for $150. I have a rod poking out the side of my E block. stupid timing chain guides.

p.s. the CA thing is still in progress, I just need a car to drive right now, lol

p.p.s. I just put a 90 240sx SOHC into a 91 4 X 4 pickup, for my step dad. that was fun. actually that sucked. they are *almost* the same motor, lol.
