Blown/Distorted Front Speakers

I have never turned up my stock Infinity system (06 6MT Coupe) past 22 and the bass is set at +2. The front speakers sound like they're blown. They have a distorted crackle sound at low volume that is in sync with bass pulses but at higher volumes they seem to be OK. I have sold, installed and was a technician of high end systems in a previous life and have not seen something like this before. A speaker is either blown or it's not but these can't make up their mind.

Also, I notice if the system is off, the speakers in the doors seem to be making a distorted vibration sound anyway.

Hass anyone experienced this? Is it a warranty item?

Is there a good quality aftermarket speaker that is a direct replacement?

yeah its warranty...had a few ppl come in for it...may be the actual audio unit
