blown clutch symptoms

im pretty sure my clutch is now dead. the car has 222000+ miles on it and i think its the original clutch. here the symptoms: can rev to 6k rpm in 5th going very low speeds, car doesn't stall when in gear at a complete stop with clutch pedal completely out, awful smell when i rev high. Its a blown clutch right?

When you begin to notice the awful burning odor of worn clutch disc, there's definately a problem! One major symptom like what you decribed is revving up to high RPMs but moving at a snail's pace. Good luck.
