Reply:Ben,One of my other email specfied that I should call it blower hood scoop. The manufacturer Mr. Gasket called it blower, so I called it that. There are no supercharger on the engine. There is a flexible pipe attached to intake manifold and this is then attached to the blower hood scoop. It also came with its own air filter which sits inside the blower scoop. I have more room thanks to the SS type scoop that I have on my hood. The flaps are then hooked onto the throttle body via cable. I found that bicycle cables to be strong enough. I seem to get better throttle response on full throttle. I think maybe I create a vacuum just before the flaps open fully. thanks for the email Ben.J.
