Well, this may be obvious, but I want to make sure. My Q's AC performance during normal driving is fine, but at idle, in this sweltering North Texas summer heat, it has become an obvious annoyance. In my meager troubleshooting efforts. since I rarely hear the AC fan running, I found that the 30A fuse supporting the AC cooling fan was blown. And, in hopes it actually was the source of the lack of cooling at idle, I tried the $5 fix and replaced the fuse, only to confirm it was a symptom. So much for wishful thinking...

My conclusion is Fan Motor is shot and needs replacement. Are there be any other sources of this behavior that I should check before purchasing a replacement?

Very common, we do a few every SUMMER. Mine lasted about 10 years.
