... Maybe its just me but I thought adding your input on a thread was the idea of a forum.
Nico plays around a bit and doesn't mind posts for the sake of posts... But its their forum and posting to "try and raise your post count" isn't really the same as feeling the need to add your input.

Its a fine line, but I get the feeling you were standing on the wrong side.
The mods are not there to e-debate the rules. He came on, told you how things are run there... its not the point for him to sit there and argue (especially when the entire digression stemmed from them not wanting extra pointless crap in threads, and your argument would just add more)

Bottom line, quit your bitching. Different forums are allowed to enforce all the strange or stupid rules they want. If your idea of what the rules should be differ, your wrong and should go somewhere else.

Miata.net is where all of the old guys you see driving a miata hang out.
Clubroadster.net is like being in 240general here

And yes you will get better and faster responses here on nico than most miata forums.
This.

I usually end up using miata.net most often. The folks there are very helpful if you need further clarity on any previously answered topic- but (as with most forums) will bust your balls for not searching first. Something else I noticed (IMO) is that Nico is more national while the Miata forums are more regional.

You need to get a Miata.

:werd:
I second this.
I think I have an account on ClubRoadster just for looking around though. They're a bunch of hardparkers.

Well that was kind of a 180. There is a difference between thread crapping and posting. I picked subjects where my opinion could have possibly made a difference and add genuine input. No "dud dats kewl". Just because I did a few at once it was condsidered spam. But he apologized to me for jumpin the gun. So I don't see where I am on the wrong side.

I'm saying. I figured I would bring it to nico so we could all laugh about it and turn a frown upside down. Which worked for a bit then here come the negatives. Kindly let it die. Its over with.
