I just got an 89 240 about a week ago and i knew it was blowing white smoke but didnt realise how bad. What started as something easy is becoming quite a problem. The white smoke blowing from the muffler is also spitting out raw gas. The spark plugs are also covered in raw gas and coated black. If any of you have any ideas what it is or what it could be please let me know. Any help at all is appreciated at this point.:help

yes, if there is that much fuel, then its not just o2 or maf, you have 1 or more injectors that are not closing and dumping way too much fuel into the combustion chambers. are all plugs covered in gas when you pull them out

The engine is also shaking really bad when i get it running too though. Would that be involved or is it a different problem all in itself?...sorry, im fairly new at engine problems...especially like this.
