Blower moter help?

my car used to make a grinding noise when ever the ac or heater was on and today even with the unit off it still blows air to the window and it only goes at one fan speed no matter how fast i set it... any ideas??

I assume you have the auto A/C controls. See Blower Motor Problem.

Thx so much the fan amp was out onlu took liky 30 mins and it saved me 500 bucks :)
