Hi there - I seem to have had the same problem a great deal of other people here have had.

I have a 2002 Nissan Pathfinder LE and one day my AC would only blow at full speed and then it just stopped working altogether. I can hear the AC "working" but absolutely nothing blows out. I found this post: blower-motor-problem-t289709.html and followed the instructions to the letter. Only nothing changed. I still don't have a blowing AC. With the glove compartment out I can clearly hear the system trying to work, but still no blowing.

Any suggestions or help?? Everyone else seemed to fix their issues by replacing the amp. Any guidance or suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Thank you!!

Try running the self-diagnosis procedure described on page HA-45 of the factory service manual. Try to park in direct sunlight before running diagnostics else you'll get an erroneous error for the sunload sensor.

I got as far as step 4 with the diagnostic test, but can't actually complete it because no air will flow through the vents. I can hear the motor operating at higher speeds on the different settings, but literally no air is coming out at all. Please help, I don't know what else to do.

Can you remove the blower motor to see if there is something obstructing the path of airflow and to clean out the blower motor's squirrel cage?

I will try! Can you point me to some directions on how to do this? Thank you!

The blower motor is held in by three Phillips head screws, all you have to do is remove them and the blower motor comes out of its housing. You should change the cabin air filter while you have the glove box removed as well.
