The blower fan motor on my 2002 I35 burned out recently, so I replaced the fan and it runs, but only on high. I understand from reading some other topics that my problem is with the fan amp. I have searched several parts sites and can't seem to find this part anywhere. I would prefer to purchase it on the after market instead of paying the extra money it costs to buy it from a dealer. Does anyone know the part number I need or somewhere I can buy one?

I'm not sure what Nissan's "real" name for the part is. When mine died in my Q, I just harvested a handful from a junkyard. Much, much cheaper than buying a new one and even if they don't last long, they're not hard to swap out so it's worth the gamble.

The Fan Control Amp (variable resistor) is listed as Nissan/Infiniti Module ASM. The part number for 02 I35 is 27761-2Y000 and is available from Ios, http://www.infinitipartsusa.co...id=55 for $57. If you want, you can shop around to get a better pricing

Thanks. I ordered the part, it's installed, and the fan is working just like new.
