I am just about finished my upgrades on my series 1 rb25det and have a question about my bov set up. I would like to run the stock bov to keep it quiet, but I am running a blow through set up with a lightning MAF. Can I still run the stock recirc bov? Would I run the vac line to the intake manifold and run the dump between the air filter and turbo? Or will i have to go with an atmospheric dump? I know the stock bov requires vacuum to stay closed so this is why I am asking or is it possible to run the stock bov with an atmospheric dump. Thanks for any input, if you have this set up please post pics.

If you have a blow-thru MAF, you don't need to recirc the stock BOV. Most will change out the recirc valve for an aftermarket BOV and vent to atmosphere.

If you are recirculating it to keep it quiet, then just dump it back into the piping upstream of the turbo inlet.

don't you have to dump it after the MAF too?

You have to put the MAF closer to the Throttle than the BOV.
If the BOV is in front of the MAF, then you can dump to Atmo or you can in your intake pipe.
