Blow through maf

Setup

Wieled stock BOV on fmic piping and was wondering about blow through.. do i need any type of engine managment for it? i been searching all day it cant really get a clear answer... i believe it needs to be on a straight pipe with distance from a bend and after the bov

You should add the availability to adjust the tune, even if only with an SAFC, if you switch to blow thru.

you need the MAF on the cold intercooler pipe (between the intercooler and the throttle body) so the intake air temp sensor is seeing cold air (not hot compressed air on the hot pipe) and put the maf on a straight peice of pipe and make sure the arrow points the right way for the air flow lol... u should re tune the ecu to suit but on my old RB20DET i ran a front facing plenum.walbro pump.external wastegate.DSR T04E T3/T4 0.50 AR. Front mount cooler.3 inch exhaust etc with a factory standard rb20det ecu and a blow thru maf and it ran fine..air fuels came up fine on the dyno and the blow thru maf made it run alot smoother....but dont take my word on it lol u SHOULD DEFINATLY retune to suit the blow thru
