That core doesn't look much bigger than the standard Greddy, Blitz, etc. FMIC, maybe a little taller. They usually have those setups in conjuction with diffusers/ducts in the front bumper, inside the engine bay, and out the hood that channel air through the core. Trick? Yes. But totally unnecessary, and possibly ineffective, for a street driven SR. In fact, those setups are only really effective at very high speeds (like JGTC where cars never really go below 75 mph) Ususaly cars with setups like that are full blown circuit racing cars with big turbos. Even with turbos this size, many get by with the standard FMIC. With a decent FMIC and a turbo that is not being pushed to the tippity top of it's efficiency range (i.e. BIGGER/more efficient) and not for extended periods of time you shouldn'y have to depend on an enormous and elaborate intercooler setup. Because the turbo will not generate as much heat to require such a crazy core setup. But the judges at HIN or Import showoff would LOVE it...
