the best blow-off valve for your money is the 1g dsm valve. hands down. recirculating is necessary sometimes though. If your car is stock and you have nothing to tune with then it is a problem. It all depends on your setup. I am aware that some people have capped of their recirc valves on stock vehicles but more have problems than those that don't.
