Blow off valve

Hello, I live in California and am having trouble with the smog test. It passes emmisions but not the visual part because of the adjustable blow off valve. I am looking for the stock part that used to go on before it was modified with the blow off valve. Is thier such a thing as a stock bov that does not adjust? Please help

well what car might help, but no Z ever came with a stock "BOV" the Z32's had recirculation valves, the S130 and Z31 had no BOV of any sort onnly "pop off" valves located int he intake manifolds, what model of Z do you have and where is the BOV located? Neither the S130 nor the Z31 had intercoolers of any port for a BIOV so I suspect you'll need the stock "J"pipes if it's an S130 or the short pipe that goes fomr the turbo to the TB on the Z31

Sorry about that . It is a Nissan 300 zx 1988.I don't know much about cars but when you are facing the car looking at the engine it is on the right hand side coming off the exaust manifold.

??? a BOV comes off the intake piping, if it's coming off the exhaust it's an external wastegate, you might want to post up a pic
