Is putting a Blow off valve on a 2008 2.5S altima coupe a good idea, when there is no turbo on?

i cant imagine how annoyin it would get having a fake one of those BOV's. its basically a whistle that attachs to your exhaust.... that would drive me mad having a constant whistle from the car,

You can hook it straight up to the carburetor bro! Also, make sure you tap off a line to the battery cooler

you gotta be careful though you dont want to damage your muffler bearings.

I didn't know it was a serious question, my bad.

A BOV cannot be used without a buildup of pressure. Traditionally they are placed on the intake valve. Without a turbo or s/c, you won't have a buildup over atmospheric pressure, to actuate a BOV

lol. it would be pretty sneaky if a blow off valve actually worked without a turbo.

Guys, you can also put a OJ Simpson rookie card in your spokes, and listen to it go rat tat tat tat...

You can also wear striped thigh high socks...

The question is WHY!

Im glad Miket11 had the guts to ask before he bought a whistle on ebay for $15.

From what i have heard of evansville indiana... ( i drove thru it many times on my way to IU) its a... "Our way or the highway" type of place... true?
