blow off valve issues.......

why is my blow off valve not opening. i rev the engine past redline and the blow off valve does not open. i take it off and i can push the spring up to open it but it does not do it by itself

Give us some more information man. What type of boost controler are you running, what BOV, internaly or externaly gated turbo, and where is the vacume line from your BOV connected to?

Oh and by the way, if your BOV isnt opening you might not want to redline it. Im guessing you have a SR...
