i got my blitz SS today and i got it hooked up i think. im a real dumbass when it comes to turbo cars im learning as i go. i hooked the vacuum line from the throttle body to the top of the blow off valve and put a T fitting inbetween the hose and the BOV then to one of the sensors that is mounted on the shock tower where i originally took the vacuum line out of. Is this hooked up correctly? Also I used to boost like 8psi (with no boost controller) and now i cant get more than 5psi, could this be because i have a big loud exaust leak from my turbo-downpipe flanges, or is my BOV leaking? it opens up just a little bit when i let off the gas but its not as loud as it should be so im guessing its because im only boosting 5psi. So did i install this thing right? why am i only getting 5psi? does it need to be adjusted? for small amounts of boost should i tighten the screw or loosen it?

Sounds like your boosting stock. Im not sure about that t fitting. Is it to the sensor for the boost controller. If you have a boost controller its not actuating therefore your running stock boost. I ran into a similar issue a long time ago and it was just the vacuum done wrong.

I'd try running to the same vacuum line that is connected to your fuel pressure regulator. The fuel pressure regulator hose should be full manifold vacuum, which you want to run the BOV valve.

He proly unhooked the vacuum line from the sensor off of the strut tower and t'd it off of the fuel regulator. Basically you have a line that comes off of the intake above the throttle body and you put a t in it and run one line to the bov and the other to the fuel regulator. that is the simplest way. Something like that. Im not looking at my car right now. The more I think about it I have one solid line from the intake manni to the bov and the other line off of the intake t's off and one goes to the fuel regulator and the other two my boost sensor with the little filter in line. I believe that is how mine is. There are a couple of ways to do this. The second way should be fine. The sensor on the strut tower is a absolute pressure sensor and is for egr stuff. There is also a map/baro switch. Did you make sure it has vacuum going to it from off the back of the intake manni? Do you still have your egr stuff hooked up?
