okay, im curious as to how you make your blow-off valve exit your front bumper. iv seen a yellow integra with one in Sport Compact Car magazine, and i beleive that is the gas spraying from the skyline in 2Fast 2Furious. if anyone has any info on this please post!:ylsuper

That wasnt the BOV that was the wastegate. That car just had a divorced wastgate with piping to vent through the bumper.However making either one come out the bumper would be the same. Attatch a piece of pipe to it and cut a hole in the bumper.

Ok, I didnt even see the second part of your post. The gas in 2F2F is a purge system on the nitrous setup. You purge out the old nitrous so when you inject it into the engine it is fresh.

or u purge to get the air out of the system. does nitrous have an expiration date

You purge to remove gaseous, low pressure nitrogen gas/liquid from the line so that when you spray you get a nice, fresh supply of the juice. This also ensures your air/fuel ratios are good when you first start spraying, since bad things happen when you're too rich or too lean.

Or like this del-sol I saw at a local car show last weekend, you purge your zex dryshot system out from both sides of your bumper, because those two copper lines are all that the system is hooked up to.

yea this guy at my work with a 3000gt with a body kit, wheels, and system thats it wants to get a "purge kit" cuz no one has it. it would be so hot. i asked if he was gettin a whole nitrous kit and he looked at the ground and said no. he didnt even know what purging was for thought it was to release the pressure

I dont understand it, maybe because I dont eat rice for breakfast, but why in the he!! would someone buy and tank and a purge kit without spending the extra $200 for the rest of it. Its just crazy.

someone was explaining to me the other day that the reason you purge your system is to get all the old nos out of the lines and fill it with liquid nos which is what your supposed to shoot in your engine. I dont know how true it is b/c it was some 18 yr old kid witha 150 shot of nos on his 600cc katana, but it kinda made sense.
