i have redtop and never had a oil catch can on vehicle and no oil ever can out any where, then had rom tuning performed still not oil coming out, then one day, lots came out where i had a breather on the T on the valve cover. i assume bad rings and time for rebuild. so what is good place to get parts forthe engine.

bringing this thread back to life. When you say rings do you mean piston rings? When you have blow by doesn't this mean the turbo is shot? whether its a whole lot of blow by or maybe just a small amount. Or would this indicate that the engine needs a rebuild not the turbo? Thanks

The OP is referring to engine blow-by, where there is a problem with the piston rings (or maybe even the skirts, etc) and the pressure inside the combustion chamber is "blowing by" the sides of the pistons and into the crankcase.

You're not the only one with this problem...I have the same thing going on right now and it makes me sick. I need to rebuild as well but time and $$ are the withholding factors. Sucks man, I feel your pain.
