while at the dyno, i and the other guys noticed my car has some blow by coming out of my valve cover filter/vent. Im thinking of getting a catch can, but was wondering wat causes it?

It happens more when i have the boost turned up, not much when at stock boost. and the cars not smoking, not burning oil, no mixing of fluid. just normal blow-by

Bad Rings buddy. Same thing with mine. It will only get worse. A catch can will help for a little while, but mine finally got so bad that I was filling up a 1Q catch can every couple of days. A set of rings will fix it. I'd plan on main and rod bearins while you're in there.

Ryan said it correctly in the fact that your engine is worn. You can either leave it like that and put up with the oil spillage at anything over 10psi of boost or you can go for the right way of doing things and repair it by rebuilding the engine. Off topic, don't you owe me an injector resistor?

Couldn't stop the guy from ringing my phone before I wired his car and used one of my parts to crank it until his came in. I haven't been offered my parts back, but he can post in a forum that I moderate, not too kool. Since I don't have his phone #, but I know where he stays, I feel this is the appropriate place to address it and non-chalantly .

Before you go crazy and blame your rings, check your crank pressure system. If the engine can not relieve the pressure, it will push oil past your rings.

Then do a wet and dry compression test, followed by a leakdown test. That will show the condition of your motor.
