I got myself a 350z as a daily driver that needed some bodywork and has some other small issues. This week I decided to take care of the front end damage. I ordered a painted fender from eBay (D & H auto) and I bought some WV2 base coat mixed into a spray can, and some clear from a local paint shop and got to work.

the point where I was wondering WTF I was doing...

the repairs came out looking great, the bumper was really f*** up and the dent wasn't fully repaired but the rest of the bumper had its own issues, so while I look for another bumper this will do.

The eBay fender cost $250 shipped.'

the color match was close, not perfect but close and needs to be color sanded.
the fitment needed work. some of the brackets needed to be tweaked for it to fit properly and body panel gaps could be better.

Despite the small issues you point out at the end of your post, you should be happy about the job you did, doubly so when you consider the price and the fact that you pulled it off in your driveway!

Well done! :dblthumb:
