Does anyone know whats the thread pitch for the 90* fitting on the block for the turbo. I'm talking about the thread that goes into the block not that fitting that the oil line goes into.

I want to remove that fitting completly because of the restrictor, so that I have only 1 restrictor for my GT28R.

I know the outlet thread pitch is 12Mx1.0 that connects the line, but want to know the block thread pitch.

IIRC, it's the same as the oil sender which is 1/8" BSPT. I could be wrong on that though.

your right its 1/8th BSPT in the block it self, you need to tap it to 1/8th NPT for use with most oil line kits. Just be very careful with brass oil restrictors i broke my last one off in the block, then broke a drill bit off in that and it went back into the oil passage took me 3 hours to fish out and clean up. I think im going to start selling only SS restrictors any more to save anyone else this problem.

What I'm gonna do is just get s 1/8 BSPT Male to 1/8 NPT Female adapter and just use a 90* 1/8 NPT to -4AN

I couldn't ever find one locally, so I just drilled and tapped my block. It's much easier to find NPT stuff here in the states.

Thankfully the hydraulic shop I go to usually has a lot of those foreign crap, its where I got my adapter for my oil sending unit.

Definatly will post pics when I finish it along with my conversion to Stepper Motor idle control.
