How do these perform, compared to K & N? One of these came with my clip, and I just washed the hell out of it, because it looks like it's never been cleaned, so I thought about putting it on and using it for a while. I read some review that they scored "poor" in the filtration department Anyone have any problems with them? I know when I first got my clip and I took the filter and base adaptor off of the maf......it was pretty dusty on the inside of the base, and maf.

The old-school raw stainless mesh ones are sweet, flow great but let junk in more than the later gauze ones. The gauze ones look like they are not reusable.

It is a stainless mesh, and from what I read, it filters down to 200 microns. Don't know how this compares to K&N, but I'll look it up. It looks like this one............

Anyone know a k&n part number that will fit the Blitz adaptor? The base of the blitz filter is like 6 or 7 inches in diameter.

Sweeetness! I may still consider a k&n one......all the pleats on the blitz one are all bent and mangled looking........no punctures or tears or anything, just not pretty.

Anyway, I need to measure the rubber flange of the blitz filter.....if it's got a 6" flange, I think I found a replacement................. http://www.knfilters.com/searc...-3100

That looks like the one. You might want to take it to a parts store and match it up as well. The Stillen MAFS adapters use the same size filter as the BLITZ setup.

Wow, both the filters I used scored poorly. My engine has the cancer by now.
