I have the blitz SS bov and I was wanting to know can the spring ever get weak that it needs to be changed out. Is there anyway of getting a stiffer spring? Has anyone ever changed out the spring in the bov? The spring that I have in my bov seems kinda weak.

If it's strong enough to make it not leak at idle, it should be fine. But in answer to your question, yes, I suppose it's possible to have it cycled enough times to weaken the spring, but it would have to be a VERY old BOV. I would think that a Blitz dealer could get you replacement springs.

Alright, ya it does leak alittle at idle. I would like to replace it anyway so I know it's good. All it is is one big spring. I've got this one

use the screw at the top to stiffen it up, that's what it's for.

If you undo the C clip at the bottom of the plunger slide it out, its like a top hat inside, flip it over so it puts more tension on the spring.Lube up the pluger also.Mine used to leak but now it supports well over 18 PSI with no problems
