Anyone got it? Does anyone know does is come out at an angle? I'm going to buy an exhaust and i want it to have atleast a 70mm pipe, so HKS is out, i want it to come out at an angle (they just look so cool) and it has to be Stainless steel because i plan to own my car atlest 10 years and i want not to have to buy another. Blitz NUR Spec exhaust is looking like the one i want is is a 80mm in diameter and is stainless steel. I just don't know if it comes out at an angle. I'm buying it for a 1990 240sx and the best price i have found is $579.00 anyone know were it is cheaper? THanks.

Hks hyper has 65 mil piping, so theres not that big of a difference. If you dont have a turbo, 70 is starting to get a lil to big for na. Hks hyper looks so bad a**. It comes out angeled. But if your going turbo, and 65 mil is to small, then you should get hks titanium. Same look as hyper, but 3 inch piping, and i think they sell turbo back setups to. Apexi also sells a turbo n1 that is what hks design is copied from. The turbo n1 also has 3 inch piping. :)

Well i want to go Sr or Ca when i get the funds, but now i want a large 70mm+ with a silencer (cause it is going to be loud since no turbo yet). But i don't think that anyone of those you said are stainless steel. I want stainless steel becuase it dosn't rust, and it can keep if for a long time.

Nurspec is gonna be loud...turbo or not..Resonator or not... Its gonna cost more money, and perform/function the same as any other turbo exhaust. They're all mandrel bent anyways. My suggestion is to just get a APEXi N1. it's hella quiet. half the price and better angle IMO.

I'm quite dumb, i didn't know that Apexi N1 is a stainless steel. Since that is the case i'm not paying $200 more for Blitz's system. I will just buy Apexi N1 since it is staniless steel. How big is the n1 exhaust 75mm?

the na for the 240 is only 55 mil, which is like 2.16 inches. the turbo version which will run you a lil more is 3 inches. that why i ended up going with the hks hyper, 65 mil 2.55 inch piping. The hks hyper is also all stainless steel. The piping is just powder coated black. Looks pretty cool in my opinoin. Hks hyper will run you a little less also, because n1 is one peice which makes shipping alot on that exhaust. In the long run, its your car, and your money. Get what makes you happy :)

You don't NEED 3" piping with a turboed engine. That is a myth. If you plan to run more than ~300HP, then you do. But if you plan on running a stock SR20, or CA18, then 2.5" should be just fine. Ask Daunt, he'll back me up. I'm sure 3" couldn't hurt, but don't feel that you can ONLY choose 3" exhausts.

I'm very pleased with my HKS Hiper. It looks great, is very deep, and not ricey, and I saw a significant performance gain. Good quality stuff from a very reputable company. It was kinda expensive though. $565 installed (I didn't have the time).

never said he had to. 2.55 inch piping is actually a good size for turbo. But if he has the money, 3 inch would probably be better. Im not 100% positive on this, or if its me, but turbo cars, especially 240's with swap sound a lot quiter exhaust wise, minus the turbo spooiling, and the blow of valve. My friend has and s13 with hks hyper on an sr20det. My car is alot louder then his. Id say it has to do with the engine size probably.

Does anyone know, do you get better preformance gains from HKS or N1 (the 3" one) ?

You said you saw a performance gain from the HKS, i just wanted to know if one would get a better performce from the HKS or the apexi, not because of size but because of bends, which one get the most hp. I will probably end up buying the HKS just because they are a more reputable company. BTW Nick you got a pic of the HKS on your car? If you do would you post it.
