I have a blitz super sound kit for the s13. (factory hot pipe size and length)I have the opportunity to buy the Blitz LM intercooler piping with all brackets/clamps.

will this setup work? or will I need to purchase a hot pipe from heavythrottle to put the blitz bov on.

thanks :)

im not 100% sure but i think that pipe with your BOV only works if you're using the stock piping and stock side mount. If you're putting a front mount you'll need a new hot pipe to stick the bov onto.

You will need a hot pipe to put that BoV on... Look at Heavythrottle.com for their Blitz BoV/Hotpipe combo.. that is what you need.

The pipe you have now wont work.

this is if you have the oem hotpipe. it is a 3 piece part, and it looks like that bov takes place of one part of the hotpipe. so are you getting the oem hotpipe? if so, you are done. if not, by a ht hotpipe and just use the bov and not the adapter pipe.shaun

hmm

I will have the oem hot pipe as well

so this kit, plus oem hot pipe, + LM piping and intercooler = complete ?

thanks!

Ian, you do not necessary need the HT hot pipe to mount your BOV on because your BOV is already mounted the hot pipe (the pipe in the photo).

You have a s13 coupe. If you use the s13 FMIC with a s13 engine, the hotpipe in that photo should work without a prolem. Just make sure your SR motor comes with the hotpipe hardware, such as the bent rubber hoses for you to connect the hotpipe.

so basically, if your motorset is complete and that you have the intercooler piping, you are fine. You dont need the HT hotpipe.
