I just picked up a used Blitz Dual TT and Im having some problems This model... On to the question, I have the plug and play adapter for the S13, so Im sure it is installed correctly. However, the car doesnt continue running after I turn the ignition to the off position. I dont have the three seperate wires coming out of the TT hooked up. I was told these are for your parking brake, speed sensor, and that the white wire is for an auto car. One thing that may have an effect on the outcome is that, as if now, my car is NA. I am installing my turbo this week and figured I would setup the TT to make sure it works before hand. Does the TT have to detect boost in order for it to initiate the countdown or does my problem have to do with those three wires?

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

no. theres no such thing as the tt having a boost detector... if its not staying on, its probably due to the parking brake connector not being connected [properly]. Your parking brake has to be engaged for the TT to stay on. I'm not sure about the "auto" part though...

I'll reply to this so that someone else that does some searching on this TT can have some accurate info. The Blitz Dual Turbo Timer DOES have a boost detector, and it determines the amount of time to leave the car at idle before it shuts off based on how hard you drive it. You'll notice you'll car will not stay on very long if it never goes into boost, because the TT is assuming that you haven't driven very hard since it hasn't seen any boost. The purple wire MUST be connected though. It does connect to the parking brake. If it doesn't receive a signal from the parking brake, it'll immediately shut off.
