whichever is quieter...

I believe that keeping attention away from your car is the best possible way to not get it ****ed with.

Since I have friends that have both..

The DD sounds way better vented or recurulated. Recuric'ed, you can still hear it a ways away. The Type S is quiet even vented. A nice sleeper BOV. Myself? I am setting my MAF up as blow through and getting either an ARC BOV to match the SMIC I am getting, or a HKS SSQV. Heard one on a GS-T Spyder that a buddy has, and vented it sounds sooooooooooooooo nice...

Type-S sounds like a rusty door hinge to me.

I think the type-s only sounds funny when it is fully loosened. when its adjusted about half way it doesn't sound like a rusty door hinge, but closer to the dd, like a full shoosh
