I don't know if it would be better to mount it on the hotpipe and have a nice short recirculation hose or mount it on the cold pipe and run a hose all the way across back to the intake.

Just today I corresponded with Sam at Jspec and he says mounting the BOV on the hot side will preserve the turbo better whereas mounting it on the cold side will make the turbo respond better. He was referring to atmostpheric venting in general I believe, so maybe a recirculated BOV on the hot side might offer the best of both worlds? That would make sense to me.

I have been calling some companies to just see what they might suggest and how their BO/bypass valves might work for me and so far have not gotten much helpful information to come to a decision. I don't mean to whine but you would think that if they want to sell you something they wouldn't be so impatient and sometimes rude, but you'd be surprised. I mean, if they gave me very good information to help me build a great setup and I encouraged everyone here to do the same, they could make alot of money. So I am a little dissapointed with a few of the major companies' tech guys' attitudes. Its not like I am total moron with completely dumb questions, I am just trying to build the best setup possible and am weighing my options. I guess they would prefer a guy with a Supra TT who just wants to slap on whatever aftermarket BOV sounds and looks cool to him without thoroughly considerig its design and placement. Just goes to show the general mentality of alot of so called import community "tuners" who will use whatever is hyped up and easy to bolt on (I have been very guilty of this too!) Anyway, I am done comlaining now, sorry for the ramble. However, TurboXS was one of the more helpful companies and they make kicka*s products so I may just go with them.

oh yeah, have you guys heard of Go Fast Bits? Its an Aussie company and they seem like awesome valves and have been getting rave reviews. Especially the Hybrid and Stealth FX units are very appealing. Does anyone have any first hand exposure to their products? Once I track down a good supplier maybe we could get onto some sort of group buy for them. Let me know if you might be interested.check it out:http://www.gfb.com.au

Okay editing post: I just came up on a walth of very helpful information at the GFB website, definitely worth a good read. I am becoming more and more interested in this company. Extra info and help like this makes me want to buy from a company not like the jerks at the other companies I called.

Instead of dumping the air from the turbo to the atmosphere, its routes it back into the intake, keeping the air circulating through the system and maintaining the amount of air rather. Good to keep turbo spooling and maintain the air that the ECU has added fuel for instead of wasting it. I just posted a big FAQ so you should read that too.
