Hey guys I was lucky enough to get a Blitz DD BOV with my rb25 clip and I'm looking into the electronics side of things now. I plan on getting the Power FC soon but I'm not sure if i'll have it for the first few months of driving her. So my question is, what boost controller do you all suggest? I know the power FC has an add on but I've heard it isn't worth it? whats the verdict?

My friend and I went with a custom Home Depot boost controller that cost a total of $11.83. I know it isn't as great as a electronic boost controller but it gets the job done and works great. My RB20DET spools to 13psi and holds through almost the entire RPM range. All you need is a brass elbow, some threaded brass hose barbs, a spring, ball-bearing, vacuum line, and about 30-45 minutes and you're set. I got the idea off of http://www.vfaq.com and searched for it. They have some pretty decent blueprints for it and it's pretty easy to do. At least it'll do until you decide on a permanent one.

i personally am just going to use the power FC.. (the one i will hopefully have next month ) but rb240det, thats some crazy ****. since this car wont be daily driven, i figure ill just waste alot of time and blow an assload of money buying decent parts for it. hell, why not? ive got no time limits.

a good manual boost controller should be fine. no difference between that and an electrical one, electrical ones just look fancier.

Yeah well you may think it's crazy, but it works. Unfortunately I don't have tons of money to throw away on expensive goodies so I save money where I can. Just call it being resourceful. And like gawdzilla said, who cares how much you pay for one, they all work the same way.
