For those of you running the Blitz DD Bov, what were your impressions after installing the SUS Filter?

it's supposed to keep crap from entering your BOV while you blow off (which doesn't seem very likely anyway)

but, im just interested in how it changes the tone of the sound

Yes.

Very interesting! My first time seeing the blitz bov. I would imagine that it muffles any high pitched sound and maybe turns it into a whoosh sound. That's my logical guess.

Not quite . With the Blitz, there's no familiar "squeeks" or bird "chirps". It normally sounds like a deep wooshy flash of air

Btw,If you wanted to know how the Blitz sounds, here's a rough preview: Keep your teeth clenched, purse your lips, and say "PWeeSHHHHhhh!" as you suddenly open your lips to a wide smile (teeth still clenched).

My only basis for comparison is the Greddy Type S, chirps like a bird...

Man...you really nailed it! I have the filter on mine, but I don't know what it sounds like without it. And I don't really know what it does...to be honest.

What did you do to recirculate yours? I'm assuming you chopped off the filter. Do you have any pictures of your DIY recirculation attachment?

actually sir, i don't have photos, but i did recirc it by chopping off the filter.

grabbed the hose that runs from stock bov to the intake and used that.

removed stock bov and capped it off, etc., etc.

it sounds more high pitched, somewhat like the ARC when it's atmos, but about 10x less loud and a bit muffled. flutters now. it's cool =D
