blinking lights on memory seat panel even if the car key is removed

Hello, I am wondering what may be the cause and the potential solution for the symptoms of constant blinking 2 round lights on memory seat panel even if the car key is removed. The car is a 1994 Q45. Pressing the reset button or the blink lights's buttons itself doesn't get rid of it. As a result, the memory seat is not working; but can still manually change.

Overtime, it drains the car's battery and requires a jump to start the car.

The battery is only 6 months old so it is not a weak/old battery (althought I could change it as a trobleshooting option later on). The last mechanical work that was done on it before I noticing the blinking was an alternator belt change.

change your battery or there is something shorting out the lan in your door. resolve issue or change lan
