Blinking airbag light

Saw an earlier post about this and tried the "fix" by pushing the light switch on the door pillar as described. It didn't work, so is there another testing procedure to find out what the source of the problem is? Or, are there sensors, etc someplace in the car that wear out or malfunction? Or do I just take a piece of black tape and put it on the instrument panel on top of the light?

Considering the airbag system could save your life in an accident, why not invest in yourself {and the life of your passengers} by spending the $90-120 to have in diagnosed by a trained Infiniti certified tech at your local Infiniti dealer? May be the best investment you make all year?

If someone gets hurt/dies in your car because you didn't fix air bags you are in deeper trouble. The air bag computer stores information before and during accident that proves you knew the bag won't deploy........flashing light.

Plus you commit insurance fraud [since listed discount for working air bags] your insurance may not pay injury claims.

Don't allow passengers until you get it repaired!
