Blinking air bag light no horn Help

After a rack and pinion install I have no horn and the air bag light is blinkinga 12 code 1 long and 2 short blinks after using the door jamb switchalso had the battery go dead during this.

Looks like you broke the clock spring/spiral cable. Im willing to bet that your cruise control does not work either if you have it. Anyway it is pretty common for these to break, it is located behind the wheel. The dealer will charge you out the *** to replace this. If I were you I would try to locate a used one and put it in yourself.
